We Recreated the "World's Best Lasagna" - Here's How it Went

      2 minute read

In case you didn't know, National Lasagna Day is July 29th! If that isn't the perfect opportunity for an excuse to make one of the best pasta dishes out there, then I don't know what is.

      Lasagna

Although the process of making lasagna can take a bit of time, the outcome is so worth it. Lasagna can be the perfect dish for serving a larger party, or you could make it for yourself and have leftovers for days.

We celebrated National Lasagna Day this year by recreating All Recipes "World's Best Lasagna".

Overall, we gave this recipe a 10/10. The instructions were simple, easy to follow, and well done. Better yet, the outcome of this dish was delicious as well.

Cooking the lasagna recipe was made easy using Ecolution's cookware. We prepared the dish using the Ecolution Bliss Ceramic Non-Stick Dutch Oven, 5 Quart, and the BakeIns Rectangular Cake Pan.

One of our favorite things to do when it comes to finding new recipes is to look at the reviews to see what suggestions and hacks other people have. One review listed under the recipe said, "Absolutely the BEST lasagna I have ever made! Per others' suggestions, I made the following changes: 1. used brown sugar instead of white 2. used fresh basil instead of dried 3) used red wine instead of water 4) didn't boil the noodles...just soaked them in hot water while the sauce was cooking 5) added a couple dashes of nutmeg to the ricotta cheese mixture 6) used shredded mozzarella instead of slices. This recipe makes A LOT of sauce. I had about two cups let over even after I was generous with it in my layering. My boyfriend LOVED it and said it's the best he's ever had. I didn't find it all that 'labor intensive' to make considering it is lasagna! Thanks for this recipe!"

This recipe is definitely a hit among those who have tried it, including us cooking and baking with Ecolution cookware and bakeware.
