Homemade Pizza Recipe
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite toppings (e.g. pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc.)
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.

- Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each portion into your desired pizza shape.
- Place the rolled-out dough on the preheated pizza pan.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, or any other toppings you desire.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
