Homemade Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 package active dry yeast
• 3/4 cup warm water
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 cup pizza sauce
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• Your favorite toppings (e.g. pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc.)

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
2. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
3. Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour mixture. Stir until a soft dough forms.
4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.

7. Punch down the dough and divide it in half. Roll out each portion into your desired pizza shape.
8. Place the rolled-out dough on the preheated pizza pan.

10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
11. Add your favorite toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, or any other toppings you desire.
12. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
13. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
